The LSU Painter’s League and Painting and Drawing Graduate Students will hold the exhibition Body Forth on January 17, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. at their newly founded gallery located on the second floor of the Dairy Science Building at South Stadium and Tower Drive.

At LSU Painter’s League, strength in community and a well-rounded education are the first priorities in young artist’s lives. The club’s organization is a place for students of all majors to foster a community of individuals who are interested in art and in making. Weaving connection between artists of all disciplines to offer incredible opportunities for learning is the core mission of Painter’s League.

Body Forth presents painting and mixed media works by Luke Atkinson, Stephanie Cobb, Samantha Combes, Miles Kinney, Samantha Rosado, Hunter Sabler, Lauren Sanders, and John Swincinski, and members of the Painter’s League. The exhibition explores different types identities and relationships to the body into a visual language. This event is free and open to the public. Food and drink will be provided.
